Handmade watercolor paint palette LIMITED edition 27 WHOLE pan in Pencil Tin

We put together this 27 handmade watercolor paint palette. Each color is in WHOLE pans with small magnets attached. All twenty seven colors fit nicely in an old vintage Faber Castell pencil tin. This tin is very old and has wear to it, which is what we love best about it. Comes with a free water brush. Perfect for throwing in your backpack, back pocket or purse and painting anywhere you like.

These paints are made from pure raw pigment and mulled with a binder ( or adhesive liquid) on a glass slab. Then to finish off the grinding we use a mill for each color to break the pigment down even further to achieve a beautiful buttery texture for each color. Each color has its own recipe and has been meticulously made many, many times.

To prepare our vehicle for each pigment (entire liquid content of paint system), we use natural clove oil and in some pigments vegetable glycerin to enhance the binder and performance of our paint. We do not use fillers, brighteners or dryers in our pigments because we want each color to be as pure as possible. We also use the highest qualities of pigments, binder, honey and natural preservative.

Each well of color takes several weeks from start to finish to complete. We allow the color to dry multiple times to shrink and then refill so that you get the most amount of color for your dollar. Since these are made by hand, no two will look alike or "perfect". It is normal for some cracking to appear.
