Pfeiffer Art Supply is home to our handmade watercolor paints. We love birds and have named each color after a different bird.

These paints are made from pure raw pigment and mixed with gum Arabic, honey, and natural clove oil as a preservative. For mulling we use a mill to break the pigment down to achieve a beautiful buttery texture for each color. Each color has its own recipe and has been meticulously many times.

Since these are handmade, no two will look alike or "perfect". It is normal for some cracking to appear. Because these paints are made with honey, in humid climates, the paints may feel a little tacky. This is normal for handmade paints.

Each pan comes labeled and has a place for mixing your paints and a small water brush, and each pan is magnetized to the tin so that you can buy individual colors from our shop.

(Note, some colors may be out of stock. It takes me 2-3 weeks to make a new batch. Please allow time if a certain color is out or choose an alternate color if you want it right away.)

Please keep out of reach from small children as the colors can be a choking hazard. These are not for human consumption.
